“…Last night’s closing ceremony gave a fond farewell to all the extraordinary Talents, experts and organizers that fueled the 7th Berlinale Talent Campus. The biggest moment of the evening was awarding the VW Score Competition to Atanas Valkov, from Poland, for his outstanding scoring of a film excerpt from La Sangre Brota, by Pablo Fendrik. Competition mentor Max Richter (Waltz with Bashir) and jury members Klaus-Peter Beyer, Martin Steyer and Martin Todsharow stated that they were “very impressed by the standard of work shown by all the candidates. Atanas Valkov’s score demonstrates a highly individual voice and approach to the project…”
