All the sounds in this recording were created by playing inside the harp and on the external surfaces of the piano. The piano keys were not used. “Nomadic” was recorded at Szeligowski National School Of Music in Lublin on a Steinway grand piano using two condenser microphones. Microphone placement was dependent on the parts of the arrangement. There are approximately 12 layers of recorded tracks. Some of the parts are looped while others are longer improvisational elements. Software plugins were used for processing the sound.
